Create Subgroups

  1. In upper right, select New subgroup (instead of New project)
  2. Click New subgroup
  3. Enter group name and description
  4. Click Create Group

Adding Team Members

  1. Click Members towards bottom of left menu
  2. Add email addresses for team members, select Developer role and May 31 expiration date.
  3. Click Add to group

Create Labels

  1. Hover over Issues in left menu and then click Labels
  2. Click New label to create the following labels:
    • In Progress (Moderate blue)
    • Review Ready (Slightly desaturated green)
    • Blocked (Strong red)
    • User Story (Dark moderate violet)
    • Spike (Dark moderate violet)
    • Defect Fix (Dark moderate violet)
    • Ceremonies (Dark moderate violet)

Milestones (sprints)

  1. Click Milestones under Labels or hover over Issues in left menu and then click Milestones
  2. Click New milestones
  3. Enter sprint title (e.g., Sprint 0, Sprint 1, etc...) and start/end dates
  4. Click Create milestone
  5. Click Milestones in the breadcrumbs list
  6. Repeat for additional sprints

Create Boards

  1. Hover over Issues in left menu and then click Boards
  2. Click Add list towards the upper right
  3. Click In Progress, Blocked, and then Review Ready
  4. Click on the Development drop-down in the upper left (right of the side menu)
  5. Click Create new board
  6. Enter Sprint Planning for the board name and click Create board
  7. Click Add list towards the upper right
  8. Click Milestone and then click on each sprint to add columns to the board
  9. Click on the Sprint Planning drop-down in the upper left
  10. Click Create new board
  11. Enter Team Assignments for the board name and click Create board
  12. Click Add list towards the upper right
  13. Click Assignee and then click on each team member to add columns to the board
